- PPFD
As an important measure index, PPFD measures the number of photosynthetic photons falling on the surface of your plant per second, which is measured in micromoles/square meter/sec – umol/m2/s. This light would be perfect for my grow room. I have 2 TS600’S, and I love them. The only downside with them is no dimmer. This FC3000 would be awesome. With all those diodes and a dimmer I don’t have to worry about raising or lowering the light. The design of the FC3000 allows for better cooling, and more coverage of light. I currently have the TSW-2000 in my Mars Hydro 4x4x6 tent and love the functionality of it. I would love to upgrade to the FC series as I have been researching lights and reading all your posts and know this is in the future. Customer service at Mars Hydro was great in answering all my questions when I initially set my tent up and needed to know the light/dimmer settings and I had an amazing grow with great yields.

Can’t believe MarsHydro is 13, I have had a TS600 for 4 years and I’ve only replaced it at the beginning of this year. Lights are amazing, Always good customer service before and after purchase. I’m on loads of forums and social media and my followers always have good comments about MarsHydro. I’ve seen comparable light grows and MarsHydro always comes up in the top 3 especially when it’s comes to bang for your buck.

Wish to upgrade my Grow ligths

Well, I managed to get marshydro ts1000 for my veg place and fc4800 for flo place and ngtl fc4800 has made me stunt. It’s so good and my fruits are so shiny and tasty. Well.. it doesn’t mean I cannot replace ts1000 for a ts3000 tho. Keep fingers crossed and also massive respect for MARSHYDRO. This company made me do it.

I’m super impressed with the products I’ve purchased from Mars Hydro in the past, they have excellent performance and a great build quality. The SP 3000 and grow tent that I purchased from Mars Hydro last year is one of the best investments I’ve made in many years. The FC 3000 would be the perfect fixture for my 3ft x 3ft area. Great stuff guys,I have a TS1000,2 TS600s and a sp3000 best lights on the market, they also look awesome.
I am a great fan of the FC3000 I bought one of the first on the market. My plants shot up over night. In fact I had to reco3unt the light higher. One or two of the plants grew straight through the gaps between light bars. They loved the change from my genetic led lights half way though their growth spurt. If things get too hot which is unlikely as the FC3000 is an INCREDIBLY cool running system for all stages of plant growth. Even so you can move the mountable driver that gets warm to touch out of the tent or grow environment to stop even those few extra degrees in your grow space.. But trust my the whole system runs incredibly cool even at 100%.
From practice and personal use I would highly recommend the FC3000 to anybody at any stage of skill level. To shorten harvest. Substantial increase in yields . No need to change bulbs between plant stages and amazingly lower electric costs. For the price the super high quality diodes from osram and Samsung cant be beaten. Enjoy I love the FC3000 Mark

when I heard about Mars Hydro, I started to read about this IPO company some time I decided to buy tubes like tsl2000 x4, tsw2000 x1, tsw1000 x1, fc-e4800 x1. in my opinion, these are the best lamps on the market and I recommend them to everyone

My transition from HPS to LED was a concerning time, wondering if the LED will fill things out the way the HPS does. My worries were non founded, and found the LED were a lot better in so many ways, growth much healthier, less electricity, less heat wasted, and no worries about distance from them. Crops are more dense and a bit better canopy penetration, with a lot less “cabbage” waste. The dimming function is a big plus for checking without getting half blinded.
It would be good if MARSHYDRO had some low powered cuttings version lights, as they are too bright for taking cuttings. I tried but too harsh for the little ones, so still using PL55W fluorescent until MARS brings out a cuttings specific LED which would be nice.
Customer service is also very prompt and sympathetic. I had a technical question about a daisy chain issue, they were very helpful and resolved my queries quickly and efficiently.
Over all, from a customers perspective they provide a positive experience and a cost effective solution for changing to LEDS, well worth the little bit more, as they pay for itself, after around 10 months at current electricity costs.

I will never use another brand, Mars hydro leds simply work for me. I’ve had 2 of their reflector models for 7 years now and I know they’re coming to the end of their life but honestly they have never let me down, not 1 single chip new in all that time.

I have been using mars hydro lighting units for over a decade, and even in the early days I always found mars hydro to be the best choice for economy lighting equipment, and yes maybe not the best components, but they have always delivered satisfactory results for me,
But over the last 10 years mars hydro equipment has come on leaps and bownes with regards to both components and results thereof, as well as the after sales support and customer service which i have found to be one of the best around, the most recent lighting units I have used are firstly the TSW2000’S(2,of) whereupon a small screwdriver had to be used to alter the wattage of the units in order to dim them, then the upgraded TSW,2000’S with the dimming unit and daisy chain function, now I am using 2x fc4800’s with dimming unit and daisy chain function and the Samsung Lm301b and osram 660nm diodes which I am having outstanding results. The reasons I chose the fc4800’s were,. Price, which is probably the best around for the footprint that these lights deliver, The components that are used,(lm301b, Osram 660nm, IR,UV),silent running, exceptional heat dissipation and the quality of the build, . I can with a certain amount of certainty say that mars hydro are my go to company for everything to do with grow room lighting and although I haven’t used any of the tents that are available ,I’m sure they will be of the same outstanding quality,materials and value as the lighting equipment .

Hi I had a really bad experience purchasing a 4×4 tent. All the stitching was coming appart and had holes so light was getting in and out. I purchased from you because of your reviews but was let down. If I’m lucky enough to win and its perfect working order I will post on all my social media platforms about it.
