Mars Hydro FC-E4800 is a 480-watt led grow light that provides 2.8 μmol/j efficacy and 1344 μmol/s photon flux. It features white full-spectrum light that is universally best for plants from seedling to harvest. The light is with removable power supply. The FC-E 4800 is designed for commercial cultivation and for big tent growers.
FC-E4800 adopts a foldable design, allowing for flexible adjustments according to different planting spaces’ needs, providing a wider coverage of lighting.
With a Yield Max spectrum (660-665nm,2800k-3000k, 4800-5000k) that falls mainly in the PAR (400-700nm) range, FC-E4800 LED grow light activates the Photosynthesis and provides sufficient light for plants to grow stronger and healthier.
Smart LED grow lights that support mobile control and programming via Mars Hydro APP. Precisely configuring the light intensity down to the month/day/hour/minute to achieve dynamic lighting levels and simulated sunrise and sunset to mimic natural photoperiod in plants. All data and settings are stored and transferred by OTA technology so users have immediate access to the latest updates.
Simultaneous switching and dimming of multiple smart grow lights without extra cords or cables. Up to 12 lighting groups are available for independent management when you have separate rooms. The growth plans of the lighting groups will not interfere with each other.
Mars-Hydro FC-E series has a large aluminum heat sink with a certain space between the individual light bars to dissipate heat. The detachable power supply can be mounted remotely on the side of a grow tent/rack or on an adjacent wall to remove heat from the growing space.

I actually managed to grow a crop of dense nugs with this light, in my 4 x 4 tent. That’s a first for me, so I couldn’t be happier. The heat output is perfect for the UK. It’s cool when on 0-50% power, so the plants may need some supplementary heating to get them started, but then warmth is generated when the light is set higher than 50% power. It’s nice to know there’s so little power loss in the form of heat.

Not gonna lie at first I was threw off by the fact there was absolutely no instructions on how to assemble the light. You’ll swear at first all the pieces aren’t there. But I figured it out and it honestly only took me 20 min from frustration to finish. I’ve run almost all other marshydro lights and these by far are the most impressive. They almost let off no heat and you can have them incredibly close to your plants without worry of burning them. So far I think its been a great light for the money. Considering I have a Nextlight Mega in the tent next to it and my light meter says the marshydro is brighter. Though that may be dew to age difference being the Mars is much newer.
